This turnkey project encompassed the installation of two (2) new dedicated chilled water systems. The new systems produce chilled water for existing air-handling units that serve broadcasting studios in Times Square, Manhattan. In tandem with the newly-installed chilled water risers, the new 150-ton modular chillers, four (4) new 165 GPM chilled water pumps, and two (2) new high-pressure plate and frame heat exchangers work in unison to produce chilled water during Building “off-hours”. Through precise valving and control logic, these systems integrate seamlessly with the existing base Building infrastructure. All associated trade work was managed by the Prime team and the project was delivered successfully.
