Prime Mechanical completed the mechanical installation for a major tenant renovation encompassing more than 500,000 square feet across multiple floors of a commercial building in Manhattan’s Financial District. This large-scale project involved the installation of fifty-one (51) packaged water-cooled supplemental AC units, twenty-one (21) CRAC units, one hundred four (104) exhaust fans, twenty (20) condenser water pumps, twenty (20) variable frequency drives, one (1) DOAS unit, one (1) plate and frame heat exchanger, one (1) expansion tank, and one (1) air separator.

Additional scope included the installation of new supplemental condenser water risers, the performance of low pressure steam and steam condensate work, and the replacement of more than two hundred (200) fan coil unit motors. Through extensive coordination and phased execution, the Prime team successfully delivered this complex multi-floor renovation while managing all associated piping, Building Management System (BMS) controls, insulation, and system balancing work.
