Prime Mechanical delivered this turnkey installation of a new supplemental packaged water-cooled AC unit to serve a new IT Lab located in Times Square, Manhattan. Overcoming the challenges of integrating new infrastructure within an already congested ceiling space, our team closely coordinated each step of the installation and ensured success. The project scope included the installation of mechanical work such as condenser water piping, condensate discharge piping, ductwork, and insulation as well as carpentry work such as sheetrock walls, ACT grid and tiles, and a new door. Despite the extended lead times for some critical components, our team planned strategically to continue construction with minimal bottlenecks; ultimately completing the project before the IT Lab required its cooling system.
