In a collaborative effort with a general contracting partner, Prime Mechanical executed the installation of a new mechanical system to serve a retail space in Midtown Manhattan. The project featured the installation of a 15-ton packaged water-cooled AC unit, electric duct heater, transfer fan, exhaust fan, and all associated condenser water piping, condensate drain piping, ductwork, insulation, and low voltage controls. The critical control points associated with the new mechanical system were integrated into the existing Building Management System (BMS) to provide visibility on their “front-end” dashboard. Despite the logistical complexities of delivering and installing equipment in elevated and confined spaces, our team ensured a seamless execution, while maintaining our safety and productivity commitments.
